About our Dive Club...

Central Florida Pleasure Divers, Inc. (CFPD), the best dive club in the Greater Orlando area for those with a passion for scuba diving. We are a not-for-profit club that has been helping people enjoy the sport of scuba diving since it was founded in 1977. We are an active dive club offering our members a variety of recreational diving trips, both in-country and out-of-country, as well as many different social activities. Florida , the Bahamas and the Caribbean are our usual destinations, but parts beyond are never out of the question. Whether you are a new diver or a seasoned veteran, you are always welcome at CFPD. Our club consists of divers of all experience levels and we enjoy a nearly equal ratio of men and women divers. We are a safety-minded dive club and we like to have fun. Belonging to a dive club is a great way to meet a new dive buddy or just spend some quality time with fellow divers. "Find Your Soul....Dive!"

On the Move Again ...

NEW LOCATION FOR 2009 - Perkins Restaurant & Bakery !! We are trying another new restaurant for our general meetings. 310 Lakeside was a great place in many ways, but just became too loud for meetings. So, we are moving to the Perkins Restaurant at 6425 University Blvd., Winter Park, located 1/2 mile east of SR 436 near Forsythe Rd. They have a separate meeting room we can use. CFPD will still meet at 7:30 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, April through September and only one Thursday October through March(check calendar). The social hour will still begin about 6:45 p.m. for anyone who would like to come early to enjoy a meal or to chat with fellow club members. In addition to regular club business, we will still offer a special program of interest to the membership at the monthly meetings whenever possible.
